Caroline Hammond Duo

After a sell-out first show, Samford Live Acoustic presents singer/songwriter Caroline Hammond, an artist of uncommon grace and natural musical lyricism.

Caroline casts a wide net over multiple genres including Blues, Gospel, Afro-Cuban, and Australian coffee house folk. Caroline’s music finds joy in the mundane, and beauty in the everyday.

A true multi-instrumentalist, Caroline is equally at home behind African percussion as driving a guitar or ukulele.  Since the early 90s Caroline has written and performed her own music in multiple folk line-ups and appeared with a remarkable roll call of Australian folk, jazz and blue musicians. Caroline will be joined by veteran electric guitarist Craig Claxton.
