Who's Playing At Samford Live
Van Dijk 4
Jan Van Dijk 4 reflects the heart of Gypsy Jazz, celebrating the music of the great swing era as made so memorable by Stephane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt of the Hot Club of France.
John Hogan Trio
John Hogan and Maureen de Waal have been playing together for close to a decade, with shows at Brisbane Jazz Club, The Bug and across the Samford Valley. Together with percussionist David Fernandez, they play a stylish mix of jazz, contemporary music and Latin American grooves.
The Barleyshakes
Queensland Music Award winners in the World Music category, the Barleyshakes are loved for their blend of traditional and original material, and their uplifting and joyous approach to live performance.
Come & Play
Musicians, would you like to perform at Samford Live?
We book artists who are proficient, entertaining, energetic, and currently active, with a following and audience appeal.
We prefer acts to have some original material and like to feature local and emerging musicians. Artists are paid a fee.
