The Inadequates – rollicking folk & bluegrass
The Inadequates are an award winning acoustic folk-rock-bluegrass trio with a bad taste in fashion. Listen to their tight harmonies and marvel as they commandeer the stage in their three-piece, machine-washable, polyester suits, possibly even louder than their music. Likened to bands such as Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers and Weddings Parties Anything, the band features a wide array of instruments including accordion, banjo, guitar, washboard and mandolin.
Playing unique covers and originals, these national busking champions guide you on a tour through multiple genres, stopping only for dubious banter. Think barbershop quartet with three barbers and no idea how to cut hair.
Fast gaining acclaim on the folk and festivals scene, The Inadequates have performed at Maleny Folk Festival, Cooran Hall, Lefty’s Music Hall, Illawarra Folk Festival, Perisher Peak Music Festival, Queensland Music Festival’s Long Sunet, Gympie Music Muster, Nerum Creek Music Festival, Rockin the Rainforest, and more that they can’t remember…
